Data controller

The Seiku Tales team (Tenerife, Spain). You can reach out by email at team@seikutales.com for any question about this policy or your data.

What data we process, and why

This site is mainly informational and doesn't require signing up. If you accept analytics cookies in the banner shown when you arrive (or later, from "Cookie settings" in the footer), we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location from your IP, device and browser type, and referring site. We don't use this data for advertising or commercial profiling, and we don't combine it with any other source.

If you decline cookies, or don't respond to the banner, Google Analytics stays off and no tracking is downloaded or run.

Legal basis

Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, with the same effect as giving it, via "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page on the site.

Who we share data with

Google Ireland Limited, as the provider of Google Analytics. Google may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards required by law (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). See Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab) for details. We don't share data with anyone else.

Cookies we use

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga Distinguishes users (Google Analytics 4) ~2 years
_ga_<id> Persists session state (Google Analytics 4) ~2 years

These cookies are only set if you accept analytics cookies. Durations are Google Analytics 4's current defaults and may change.

How long we keep data

For as long as your consent stays active, and in line with the retention period configured in Google Analytics for aggregate usage data.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object, as well as withdraw consent, at any time by writing to team@seikutales.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Spain's data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) (opens in a new tab), if you believe this processing doesn't comply with the law.
